Frequently Asked Questions

Making decisions about how — and where — you want to live often raises some important questions. That’s why we encourage you to “Just Ask.” You’ll find our staff at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor eager to provide the information you need to make informed choices.

Here are the three questions we’re asked most often:

  • Do you have any openings? Although we frequently do have openings for new residents, we really can’t answer this question until we know what you’re looking for. With multiple levels of care and a wide range of services and amenities to choose from, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor truly offers the opportunity to “live the way you want to live.” Once we have a chance to visit with you in person and determine what that way is, we’ll know whether or not a suitable opening is available.
  • What is included in my monthly rate/what does it cost to live at Presbyterian Manor? Your monthly service fee covers a variety of costs common for all residents. These can include meals, utilities, 24-hour emergency response system, housekeeping and linen service, and interior and exterior maintenance. However, rates vary depending on your level of care, the type of accommodations you select, and a variety of other factors. We can provide you with an Admissions Packet that includes a detailed list of services and rates along with a helpful Guide to help you compare the real cost difference between living in your own home and moving to Presbyterian Manor. We do not require any application or entrance fee for residency at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor.
  • What dining choices do you offer? We offer restaurant style dining in a relaxed setting. Residents may order from the special of the day or from the always-available menu for all meals. We follow a liberalized diet plan for our residents.
