Spiritual Life

Clay Center Presbyterian Manor gives residents many opportunities to develop their spiritual life, worship and practice their faith.

We hold regular worship services every Tuesday afternoon at 2 in our chapel on the main floor. The services are open to the public as well as residents of all living levels. Each service is led by one of several local pastors who volunteer on a rotating basis. They include:

  • Pastor Ryan Lynch from United Methodist Church
  • Father Randall Weber from St. Peters and Paul Catholic Church
  • Pastor Matthew Coleman from First Baptist Church
  • Pastor Wilbur Schoneweis from Emmanuel Independent Baptist Church
  • Pastor Ron Graham from Hebron Reformed Presbyterian Church
  • Pastor Rob Stewart from Clay Center Wesleyan Church

Worship however they choose

Our community holds vesper services every Sunday at 4 p.m. in the health care dining room. Open to residents of all levels, these services are led by the same group of pastors plus three additional volunteers who serve on a rotating basis:

  • Pastor Paul Tessaro from St. Paul Lutheran Church
  • Pastor Peter MacKinney from Fountain of Life Christian Center
  • Pastor Grant Clay from Evangelical Covenant Church

Weekly Bible study groups meet each Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the activity room. Open to all levels, the sessions are led by:

  • Peggy Schulze
  • Gary Stenzel
  • Gail Habluetzel

In addition to regular weekly worship services, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor hosts special Advent services in the chapel during the Christmas season.
