Clay Center Presbyterian Manor has three room styles in health care including: the private room, semi-private room, and semi-private deluxe room. All of our rooms are also certified for short-term rehabilitation and may be used for rehab based on availability.
Our community has a flat rate for long term care, which means your rate will not fluctuate based on the level of care needed. The rate is dependent on room style and is a daily rate.
Yes, our community is certified to accept Medicaid and Medicare in long term care.
Yes, this is not uncommon. Couples can live either in long-term care separately in their own rooms or share two halves of a semi-private room.
Yes! We ask that you sign your loved one out with the nursing staff and, if planning to be gone for a prolonged period, to let us know ahead of time so we can prepare any medications and adjust care plans as needed (i.e. bathing, therapy). Also, please share a return time so we can ensure to have a meal ready for your loved one, if needed. If you and your loved ones are going somewhere special, we would love see photos if you would like to share.
