Mental Strength & Brain Fitness: Clay Center PMMA hosts free program

How do you keep your brain sharp as you age? What will keep your brain working at peak performance? Get the answers to these questions and more at a free event January 31 at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor.

Nick French from Interim Healthcare Home Care and Hospice will lead the session. Just like our bodies, our minds need exercise to keep fit. Studies have shown keeping our minds engaged in learning new things and socializing can contribute to brain health. Nick will present ways to give your brain a workout and to achieve peak mental performance.

“Mental Strength & Brain Fitness” will begin at 3 p.m. January 31 at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor. It is part of Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local, regional and national experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Marketing Director Heather Germann at 785-632-5646 or email hgermann@pmma.org. Use our event page on Facebook to invite friends and help spread the word.
