Scholarship helpful in advancing career

We want to congratulate our director of nursing in Assisted Living for being awarded a scholarship from PMMA’s Employee Scholarship Program.

Jessica Lippe has decided to advance her learning and is currently taking classes to obtain her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. This is something she’s always wanted to do and has now had time and support to achieve that dream.

Jessica has been with CCPM since July 11, 2011, starting out as the restorative nurse, then moving up to MDS Coordinator, and has now been the Director of Nursing for the last 7 years. She hopes with her continued education she can learn how to provide even better-quality care for seniors and hopes to be able to advance and help others in the Presbyterian Manor community as well.

The Employee Scholarship Program was established in 1978 with an endowed gift from C.E. Koehn. Today, continued support from donors including payroll deduction elections from employees help maintain the scholarship program. Without charitable support this program would not exist.

Jessica would like to thank her family, friends and superiors for the encouragement to take this next step.
